Contraindications
Microneedling may not be suitable for you if you have any of the following conditions:
Pregnancy or breastfeeding.
You have active acne, eczema, rosacea, or any skin infections.
You’re currently using strong retinoids, as these can increase skin sensitivity.
You have a history of keloid or hypertrophic scarring, as the treatment may increase the risk of scarring.
You’re taking blood-thinning medications, which can increase the risk of bruising.
